Saint Jude

  • St. Jude is venerated as the Saint for the Hopeless and the Despaired. It is believed that if one prays to St. Jude sincerely and attends the novena for 7-9 days, whatever be the problem, it will have a solution. His feast and the associated oottuthirunnal are celebrated during the last week of October.
The Catholic Church honours him as the Saint of Impossible Deeds, realising his special concern for the helpless masses. In 1982, the police force in Chicago adopted him as their Patron Saint. St.Jude is also known as Lebai Sleeha.
